Hi,

I just learned recently about ghost lights from a program on CBC Radio and was releived and excited.

I am sure that it was a ghost light that I saw 2 years ago while driving in a remote area of British Columbia...

It was June 1999 and I was driving alone at night with a long drive ahead of me. I was heading South on Hwy 6 inbetween Nakusp and Fauquier; there was no traffic. I saw a small ball of light coming towards me on the other side of the road. It sort of bounced and floated along for a few seconds and then it scooted off into the bushes on the side of the road. I slowed down to see if there was a driveway there where it left the road but there was not. It resembled a motorcycle headlight because it was yellow/white. But a bike would not move like this light did.

I only told 2 people about my experience as I had no explanation for it. I knew it was something unique. I am happy now to know what it was and thought I would share it with you as there were few Canadian stories on your website.
