Hello,
I am very impressed with this web page. I was upset to see that Yahoo does not carry the paranormal catagory under entertainment. I have been addicted to ghost stories since childhood. My curiosity has peeked with age. I am glad to see that there are others who also enjot the paranormal. I want you to know again that I have enjoyed viewing this page and will continue to do so. Who knows maybe one day I too will contribute a story. thank you. Heather Metz.
Obiwan notes: Yahoo! has moved their Paranormal Phenomena category to Science:Alternative:Paranormal Phenomena.

I think your web page is great! The only change I would make is to add more pictures of your adorable tyke!
Obiwan notes: Thanks for that impartial review, Mom!

This is a cool website! I just visited "The Ghost Web" and I think that's a cool site too. My curiosity got the best of me, and for some weird reason, "ghost" popped into my mind (not that I've seen one). I've heard true stories about ghosts and have seen the 3-part series, "Real Ghosts". The third one got my attention because they happened to video tape a real shadow crossing a hallway. There were no people in the house, except for video cameras and antennas. And the windows were closed too so there were no gusts of wind. From the video, you can clearly see a shadow walking across the hallway into a room of which the doors slowly closed after the shadow. A camera was set up in, I believe, another room where a roll of tape, a helmet, and a briefcase moved by themselves. In the kitchen, there was also a camera and I think some kind of device that picks up frequencies(?). The entity made its way into the kitchen where cabinets and drawers opened and closed by themselves, then towards the camera which was found crushed the next morning. Hmmm...and strange things have also happened to close relatives of mine, but I won't reveal all of them because it would be too long. Happy Ghost hunting!
Obiwan notes: Thank you for the review of the TV show. I have heard so much about it but have yet to see it myself! If you'd like to submit a story you can do so on the True Stories page.

Well, I've known Obiwan for a good, long while, and I have to say her page just keeps getting better and better. The updates are awesome! :-) The stories are still fit to chill the blood (even the ones I first read a while back) and the links page is the most comprehensive I've seen anywhere. Period. That's why on my own web site, Obi's page is No. 1 on my Top 5 Ghost Sites on the Internet. You just can't get much better.
We in the Internet community who love the paranormal owe a lot to Obiwan, Dijon and Tater-boy Hollis. (Ask her about that one sometime!) Collectively, they've provided us with one of the finest web sites, one of the best FAQ files and some of the scariest ghostly lore this side of the Ninth Plane o' You Know Where.
Thanks, Obi. Keep up the great work. :-)
Obiwan notes: Thanks for the review, Brian! Your site is pretty neat too. :) I hope a lot of people visit and read your stories!

I saw the pictures of the ghosts and it was typical shadow type of thing and then!!!!!! A horrific picture of something called a tyke!!!!! Just about scared the pants off me.
Obiwan notes: You think that's scary? You should see him after he hasn't taken a nap for 12 hours!

I was excited to see you include The Queen Mary in your "haunted sites" section..
I am a devoted lover of The Queen.. and go there as often as I can.. I especially love exploring in the middle of the night places that are posted "Don't enter" I have been escorted back to my room by a security guard more than once.. hehe
If you'd like first hand encounters or knowledge of the wonderful spirits who "live" there.. I'd be glad to tell ya.. One of my encounters was published in the booklet "A Guide to The Haunted Queen Mary". That was only one of many experiences tho.. there have been many others.
Looking forward to seeing yer finished page about my Queen Mary..
HUGS!!
Munchie
Obiwan notes: Sure, I would love to hear your story! I could even add it to the Queen Mary page when it's finished.

This is really not a bad web page.
However, would it be nice to see some REAL on going sights that are on going?
Such as the tree in Salt Lake City that one can see the Mother Mary? The people have made a shrine out of it. I went there myself....it is no fake...it is on 300 east 700 south. Check it out. For me to report on it would take up far to much...I know one thing, IT IS REAL!
Obiwan notes: Thanks for the suggestion, Deb. I don't plan on adding anything religious (such as Virgin Mary or angel sightings) to the web page, but I'm sure others would be interested in the Utah site.

I live in Athens, Ohio and I maintain a site about all the local paranormal folklore. I don't know if you've ever heard of us, but it's an interesting place to live!
I'd love it if you'd include a link to my site on yours. I'm building my links page now and definitely plan to include your incredible web resource site!
Thanks for a great link!
Patti
Obiwan notes: Hi Patti. I already have a link to your site on the General Paranormal links page. Thanks for the link!

I truley love you page. I have visited many differant pages and found that yours has the widest range of links available. I can always find what I am looking for. Your sight has been an insperation to me, any pointers for an up and coming web page. thanks again Kylee
Obiwan notes: Thanks for the compliments, Kylee! My best advice to you in creating your web page would be to think of some original content to put up. I like pages where I can find something I've never read before. Let us know when you get your page up!

Great web page.
You may want to see what you can find about the John Stone Inn, in Ashland Mass. It's considered by many to be the most haunted place in America. I've been there, it's spooky!!!
Obiwan notes: Thanks for the tip, Bill. Maybe on one of our visits to Massachusetts, we will have time to visit there.

Thanks for keeping up the best ghost site on the web!
I just dug up some old text files I saved from afgs in the "pre-web" days in 92-3. Great stuff. Glad to see you're still around (I recognize some of the stories on this site from some early posts).
I got hooked when I read the Bloody Mary/Mary Worth threads back then. It brought back memories of doing the same ritual in the lavatory when I was in 6th grade. A section on popular (and scary) "folklore" such as that would be a nice addition to your site.
Another good addition would be some treatment of the subject of ghost theories. You could repost some of the old ones (energy residue, parallel dimensions, etc.), as well as providing a forum restricted to that subject (alt.ghosts.theories?) and perhaps some links to some physics treatments of same.
But enough of suggestions, I'm posting this comment primarily to say thanks. Keep up the great work, a lot of us appreciate it.

I really like this site as it's cool, interesting and informative especially the part "Haunted Places You Can Visit'. I grew up in a family which is very fascinated about the third kind and so we always like to visit sites like yours. We also watch tapes about the third kind. Last but not least, Keep Up The TREMENDOUS GOOD Work. :)

Just searching and landed here for a bit..but still searching though. Nice site I thought..maybe I'll ask here. Do you know of "50 Berkley Square"? Or should I say "IT", which is I believe the same as what haunted the Ivan Vassilli - a Russian navel ship early this century. If so, get back to me and we can share our theories...if not, then you might want to check them out for yourself...it's an interesting enigma I think you'll find.
And now....aufwiedersehen.
Your fellow haunt,
Leegeira

I really enjoyed the site. The only thing that bothered me were the split screens and scrollbars on them. You have done a great job collecting stories and getting others to participate in submitting stories. Keep up the good work :)
By the way... your little 'Tyke' is just adorable! :)

Hi! I just happened across your site in a search for links to add to my Halloween-related page. Yours is terrific. I have to admit that I've not seen many (really, hardly any!) sites on the paranormal, but your layout is terrific graphically and very user friendly. I'd love to have you visit my site, which is at URL:

I hope you don't mind having your site linked to mine. Check it out and let me know. I'll remove the link if you prefer.
Sincerely,

This is a very good site, it has much left to be desired, but I believe that it has very good qualities. And also a little fact that I picked up somewhere. There is not a single place in the entire world that has not had at least one reporting of paranormal activity or ghosts. There are just people out there who believe that anyone who actually has the balls to admit to themselves is a nutcase, but in fact those people are the nutcases. They don't have the balls or mental capacity to believe their own eyes. They think that just because one thing is not socially acceptable, and the fact that they believe to have seen something, they try to convince themselves that it was just their imagination. though I will admit that there are some people out there with very active imaginations, and sometimes, they do get the best of us. But if you ever see something that you thought was impossible, you had better make sure that you were imaginig it, or go out and tell your story. You'd be surprised to learn of the number of people who actually HAVE seen things. I learned that the hard way.

I love this site. It is the only one I have found with a multitude of True Ghost Stories. I have it in my Favorite Places and visit almost daily. I have yet to read all the stories, and also go through the other interesting things on this site. Keep up the good work!
