story Shadow man.

The ghost I've experienced is the shadow man. It wasn't bad, it just was a shadow. Every night, it would walk by my room, on the hallway wall to the bathroom. It didn't lead to anything, it just was on the wall. Also, I could hear it walking up the stairs since it was wooden. Another thing, sometimes in the middle of the night, the TV would turn on with the sound at full blast for no reason. And once, we had this shelf with all these little clay animals on it and one time all the clay objects started floating in the air, moved out about 2 feet away from the shelf, and just fell to the floor.

Most of the clay object were shattered, but a few I still have. It was weird. I wasn't scared or nervous, but I had this strange feeling that I can't explain.

I just have to say that it was relaxing.

I really can't remember the exact time of the incident, all I know is that my son was about 15 or 16 months old. The year was 1973. I had an uncle who played professional football . Chuck was my mentor while growing up. always there to protect me from the older bullies. I may be a girl, but I was quite the tomboy. I was only 7 at the time and loved to play football with the older kids. Chuck didn't want me to get hurt, so he would let me be the center. The one thing he would always say to me that still sticks in my mind was laces up Pat, laces up. (Meaning to keep the laces of the ball up while centering it). Well, we all grew up, I got married and Chuck went on to play Pro ball. In 1972 he collapsed on the field and died during a game . After he died I received a football signed by the team players. I kept this ball on a tee, on a shelf in my son's bedroom above the end table next to my son's bed. My son had gotten into a bad habit of climbing into bed ! ! with my husband and myself during the night. One night , months after Chuck had died, my son climbed into bed with us. I picked him up to put him back in his own bed. I then returned to my bed, only to be reawakened moments later. Once again I took my son back and placed him in his own bed, each time turning on the hall light before entering his bedroom. The third time I decided that if I was going to get any sleep that night I had better leave him in bed with his father and sleep in his bed. This time I did not turn on the hall light. When I layed down my head struck something. I got up to turn on the lights. There laying on my son's pillow, laces up, was the football. Suddenly I heard, laces up Pat, laces up!

story This is not my own personal story but i tell this to everyone that wants a good scare!!! My friend, Carissa spent the night at her friends house one night. She was really bored because her friend was on the phone,so Carissa started dancing to the music that they were playing. While she was dancing she watched her shadow. Carissa stopped, turned to her friend and asked her a question. When she turned back she noticed that her shadow was still dancing...then the shadow stopped and waved at her. Well, carissa screamed and ran out of the room while her friend was still talking on the phone...The girl on the phone wondered what was going on and she looked at the wall and the shadow turned and waved at her.

Well thats my story....im not a good writer..so i give you permission to change the words or whatever else you would like to do to it.....by the way this is a true story........

A long time ago I was sitting around with a few of my friends and we were discussing just how interestin git would be if we would have a seance. Being the little quiet, shy girl that I was, I was kind of reluctant to get involved in any of these conversations.

One day I finally got brave enough to face my fears, and have a seance. (With my friends of course!) We all began to summon spirits over a candle. I held a small candle over the large candle in the center of the table, and asked "If there are any spirits in this room, please light the smaller candle." Nothing happened.

The second time around, I had everyone to clutch hands, and summon the spirits once more. When I placed the smaller candle over the larger candle this time it looked like an explosion, beacuse it light so fast.

I was so freaked out. Just when I thought that the spirits had left. I felt this extremly cold presence. I looked to my left, and on the wall I saw this shilouette of a grown man who appeared to be shaking a chair at me. I immediately started crying and screaming for someone to blow out the candle and to turn on the lights.

The really twisted part to this story was it took place in the coldest part of winter. So my friend had the heat blasting. After this encounter, I went over to the wall where I had seen the shilouette earlier that night. (I saw the figure at the same place where the heat blasts out of the vent.) I was so cold, despite the fact that the heat was on. So I leave you with the question that I often ask myself, Did that spirit really leave?

Hello, this is my story.

As a Born Again Christian I don't believe in Ghosts, but I do = believe in demons. I live in Prairieville La. and have this to say.

The house that I live in is supposidly haunted. When I was in the = Air Force, my older brother and his family lived here while they = remodled their house. These are the stories they told. One day after = returning from the store, my sister-in-law put a candle in one of the = candlestick holders on the mantle of the fireplace, which when entering = the kitchen is due left of the kitchen table. This "ghost" as it were, = doesn't like her very much. As she was going back into the kitchen, they = hollered at her and she ducked. As she did the candle flew over her head = almost breaking the bay window. My nephew was in the shower one night, = and he said it threw the shower curtains open on him. Until today, he = will not stay by himself, in the house at night. Also my brother has had = it flush the toilet on him while he was in the shower. Everyone else has = had doors open and close by themselves. Time after time I have called = for this ghost to show itself and I would believe in it, but alas, it = will not make itself known. About the only thing that has ever happened = to me was one night I was getting into bed, when I felt something climb = into bed with me. I then felt something hot breathing down my neck. Like = I said I do believe in demons. I closed my eyes without turning around = and asked Jesus my Savior to help me get to sleep. He did in a matter of = seconds. When I woke up there was nothing there.

I still don't believe in ghosts, but love to check out sightings. If = yall know of any in south Louisiana between St. Francisville and Baton = Rouge, and New Orleans, please let me know about them. Ok? Thanks.=20

story I can remember as a kid feeling scared in certain areas of my grandmothers houses. I never questioned it, but made sure I stayed clear of those rooms. As I got older, I had an "experience" at my granny's house in NC. (I was 15 years old at the time) Those creepy feelings accompanied by goose bumps and all my hair standing up continued on occasion as I grew up, but went full tilt when I rented an apartment in Bel Air MD. Me, my roommate, and my all white cat moved in to the one bedroom apartment in 1994. I was frequently seeing a white shadow in a certain area of the bedroom and living room/dining room area, and assumed it was my cat. Of course when I would turn to see him, nothing was there. I didn't think much of it...things always catch you out of the corner of your eye. The other problem was occuring at night. I felt a very evil presence coming from the living room area. I felt safe in the bedroom, but if I had to get up to use the bathroom, I became terrified once I ! ! left the bedroom. I could feel the energy from the living room. I never said anything to my roommate because I figured I was just being a chicken. But then one day she asked me if I ever saw the cat and when I looked he wasn't there. I couldn't believe it and told her yes and asked her if she saw it in any particular places in the apartment. She said the exact same places I would see it. I was so excited to hear her say that. We immediately exchanged stories, and I found out that she felt the "presence" at night and coming from the living room. As time went on, we saw more and more of what we believe was a ghost cat. He would rub up against my roommate, but not me. I did however sit on him on day only to get kicked several times by him, making me jump up thinking I had sat on my cat. My cat was asleep in the bedroom in his hammock. Friends stayed the night on the couch in the living room and said they couldn't sleep because it sounded like someone was walking around the livin! ! g room all night. Our neighbor stopped us one day to ask us if we would hear weird noises at night. To make along story short, apparently her apartment was haunted to. Since we've moved from there, we have had no experiences like that. (I'd like to keep it that way!)

It happened when I was 12. My mother had left me home alone with the dog for a moment, at a time when it was really safe for a kid to be alone in my northern Mexican city. I was in middle school, and had a lot of homework to do. All of a sudden, my cocker spaniel started barking (she used to be as docile as a bunny) and fled my bedroom. Bored with Math, I followed her into the kitchen and into the stuffy living room. Now, this is a room that was seldom used; the furniture was dark, the atmosphere heavy. It was always cooler than the rest of the house. Well, the dog suddenly stopped barking and sat down on her hind legs, her gaze fixed on a copy of a painting by Velazquez (spooky, but nevertheless common). To my surprise, she balanced herself only on her hind legs and offered her paw to the painting. I felt a breeze blow in the room, and the dog whimpered and crawled away. I ran to the porch and waited for my mom. She told me that before we were born, she had researched the are! ! a where the house was built on, but found it unfruitful; nevertheless, funny things kept on happening in that house that only she could see. She and the dog, I might add...

I'm from Malaysia and this happened about five months back. My husband and I was driving around in Kuala Lumpur, I needed to complete my "Night Photography" assignment. I've taken a few pictures of the Kuala Lumpur Twin Tower, KL Tower and we decided to head back and passed by the National Monument. It was only 9:30 a.m., very early by my standards. It was very bright (spotlights and all) and I decided to stop over, it would be perfect to take a night photography. We turned over to the parking lot but the gates were closed. I was more inclined to turn back but my husband insisted on staying. He got down first while I was fumbling with my camera. Before I could get down, my husband immediately got back in the car and commanded me to stay put. I didn't say a word but I could sense something was definitely wrong. His face was as white a sheet and I had goosebumps. We drove out of the area and while doing so, he asked me if I had noticed a strong fragrant. I shook my head as I wondered how could smell anything when he doesn't even notice my perfume. When I asked him what was going on, he said he saw a lady in white hanging on a tree. She had long hair and it covered her face. We both drove back to our house in silence and I feared that that "thing" might follow us home. Both of us came down with a terrible fever the next day and was confined to bed. Till today, my husband refused to say another word about it. And I can't figure out how I could miss the strong frgrance....

story I live in Wisconsin land of cheese, not ghosts. Anyway, a place where my mom worked used to be an old convent. There are three floors to the building and it is now used for a daycare. She came home one night and said that the night before they had a meeting for all of the staff. The last two ladies to leave were the head operators, so they lock up. The cleaning staff and the babysitters had left and the two ladies, Carmen and Judy(not true names) made sure all of the lights were off and left. They were both parked in the back parking lot, and from there you can see the back of the building. They were talking and they noticed one of the third floor lights on. They looked at each other, knowing they had turned it off, and walked back togather to turn it back off. After they turned it off, and made sure no one was in the building, they left again. They got back down to their cars and noticed it was on again. They decided to leave. In part because they were ver! ! y frightened.

This is not the first time stuff like this has happened. Often babysitters will here snoring on the baby monitors(babys don't snore like 50 year old women). Doors that are to remain locked, have been found unlocked. The church next door had a medium come in, and she said it was the ghost of Sister Catherine. She had died in her room on the 3rd floor many years back, but has remained there to help watch the children. The babysitters write her notes and supposedly she reads them. Many of the worker don't mind, but only if they aren't alone!!!

I have driven past at night, many times, and seen that lone light on. There are no cars around, and no timers are set. I never believed in this stuff before but when I saw that light, I knew there was someone or something in that building watching me drive past.

story hi, I just want to get something off my chest, as it was bothering me for a long time and I will like to have your honest opinion. I will like to know if what ever I saw the other night was true.

Well, I am fom Singapore and I used to be a former student of a school in Katong.I joined the National Cadet Corps (NCC) as my ECA and we have a tradition of having an annual camp at the year end.

My seniors have said that in our school, there is once a girl who hung herself in the toilet and always appear at the stroke of midnight. Well, I did not believed then but now, I do.

During the annual camp, I was assigned to complete a solo walk which included that I have to collect a sweet in the huanted toilet. I am pretty scared when my watch showed that it was exactly 12 at night. But, I have to get the sweet in the toilet, or else I forfieted the solo walk. So, havong no choice, I entered that toilet.

The funny thing now is that the moment I entered the toilet, I heard the gasping of breath, as if one is out of breath. The moment I looked up, I saw a girl about my age haning in the ceiling and struggling. I mean that, the girl was really in trouble and I had to help her.

But the moment I reached her, she disappeared. leaving behind a frangance which I don't remebered at the moment. Boy, I was really scared and ran all the way back to the campfire where my seniors were waiting. I told them about what I saw just now, but they don't believe, saying that actually they are pulling my leg about the girl in the toilet.

I don't remember what happened after that, but the tradition of having a solo walk at the annual camp was cancelled. But I remembered the smell that I smelled in the toilet. It was the smell of frangipani.....
