I recently read one of the stories sent to me about machines with a mind of their own. Thought I'd pass this on for fun.
Sometimes, I see a small brown shadow run through my house, and sometimes it's just too much, and I have to tell it to settle down. Generally it does. (I think it's a ghost-dog?)
Anyway, a couple of days ago, I got up to prepare the morning coffee. And noticed to my dismay, that before I could do this "I have to" take out the trash, so I do.
After, I grind the beans. In the background I hear water running, it keeps getting louder and louder, I was thinking that my husband got up and went to the toilet and the noise was the flushing sound. But this is rediculous! The noise did not stop, even over the grinder!, which I had just finished. I reached over to remove the old grounds, and low and behold, the espresso side of the machine was spewing water everywhere! (That was the noise I heard)
Who turned it on, where did the water come from, how come there was so much water? Hey, wait a minute here... the espresso top was screwed on tightly, the boys did not add any water (I asked), or even try to make any (we have an Italian pot for the stove as this one seems to take forever, except for now) What's going on here?
Later on in the day I found out exactly "how much" water there was, under the counter, microwave, the hot-board it sits on, everywhere! More than the small container it can hold (which is equal to a regular cup of coffee!) where did it come from?
I don't have any ideas about the water, but maybe the ghost-dogs owner knows who turned it on!
By the way, this really did happen to me! Believe it or not!
