This only happened once and I am glad of that but this still haunts my mind.
I was at my friends house having coffee and watching children play in the back yard when I saw a blinde haired man in a striped tee shirt looking in her front window standing on the porch. I told her she had company and we both went to the door to see who was here. I thought it looked like her cousin Mark. No one was there and at the same moment the knock we expected came from the back bedrooms and was loud. Both of going to the far bedroom the knock sounded again and was louded still. The knock was coming from the closet door and was pushing the door open. I open the door all the way and no one was there. Immediately the sound of some one running down stairs over and over was over our heads and this is a one story house. The light fixtures were swinging and the noise was now banging loud. the attic pull down door was opening I grabbed my friends hand and we fled the house. The police checked the house and found nothing but two women holding their children outside and not wanting to go in. The house was found safe and police suggested a maybe earthquake but no one else felt one. And the man I saw at the window I thought was Mark I don't know other than Mark who was stable and smart with a good future killed himself without even a note of goodbye several years later. Maybe a considence but I still see the man looking in the window and staring at me and waving, in my memory. Help with this if you have any ideas.
