This story in which i am about to tell you is true, and whether you wish to believe it or not is up to you.
My friend and her mother moved into a house in Frankfort,Ky, built sometime during the 1800's. There had been a fire there many years before, and since then, had been rebuilt. When buying the house, they were told that a father, child, and dog had in fact died in the house. Since both my friend and her mother were non-believers in paranormal activities, it didnt really make a diffrence. Upon the first week that they had moved in, strange things began to happen. Rocking chairs would move back and forth by themselves, without a window being opened, the doors of the cabinets in the kitchen would open by themselves, sometimes with pots and pans flying out. On top of all this, their dog, of whom they had had for 8 years died. They buried it in the backyard with all of its favorite toys. I often went to visit my friend, wanting to be a part of the strange happenings, but nothing ever really happened until one night. They had bought a new puppy, and we all heard a squeki! ! ng noise out in the hallway. We went out to see what it was, and it was the puppy playing with a toy. But what was so strange was that that toy belonged to their dog who had died, and they had buried it with him. We all ran outside to the burial site, thinking that maybe the new puppy had dug it up, but it was undisturbed. Things laid off for a little while for the most part. Every once in a while you could hear the giggling of a child, or drawings in crayon on the walls. My friends mother was no longer skeptical of what was happening, she knew that she and her daughter were being haunted. Things began missing from their rooms, such as little glass figures, sometimes dolls or stuffed animals, and no one had a clue of where they had went. One day my friend and I went up to the attic, which no one had gone up there since they had moved in. It was very dark and dusty up there, except for one side of the large room. It looked as it it had been well taken care of, and all! ! of their missing items lined up around the walls. Since they were not being harmed, they had decided that they would let whoever or whatever had taken them up there keep their belongings. One night, her mother was laying in bed, trying to go to sleep when a small light appeared in the corner of her room. Inside the light, there was a resemblence of a small fairy like child, and she smiled, and dissapeared. My friend and her mother believed this to be their guardian angel, and that it was safe for them to continue living there without harm. To this very day, they continue to live there, being "haunted". Their house appeared on an episode of Unsolved Mysteries to my understanding. This incident PROVES to me that we are really living with supernatural beings, and we should all recognize these spirits, and learn to live in comfort with them.
