I was 10 years old when this experience took place, it literally scared me into shock.

My family and I, which consists of me, my mother, step-father, and younger sister and brother, were living in a small town called Kimball, Tennessee. The house in which we lived was built in the early 1920's, and my step-dad had lived there all his life. In 1983, his mother died there in her sleep. The house is very large. The top story is big enough to be an apartment. Anyway, Soon after my mother and step father were married, we moved in to the house with my grandfather. I was 8 years old then. The upstairs had to be remodeled, so it took my parents just about 2 years to finish it, this became my room. I didn't like it up there, to a child it was a scary place. The two windows that I had faced the road, and so at night you could catch a glimpse of headlights shining in my room as cars drove by. Sometimes I would sit up and watch the lights, because I couldn't sleep. But one night as I was about to fall asleep, I noticed a green glow in my room. I sat up in my bed, bewildere! ! d. There at the foot of my bed was this green, sort of flourescent glowing sphere shaped figure hoovering above the foot of my bed. I couldn't scream, I was so scared. It didn't move, it just sort of hovered there for what seemed like an eternity, which was probably no longer than a few seconds, but that was long enough. It then just seemed to dissappear, and when it did, I wasn't scared anymore, I had a peaceful feeling..like things were in order or something...it's hard to explain...The next morning, I told my mother about what happened, and she didn't believe me, she thought I was just making up a silly ghost story. But I KNOW what I saw, and I know how it made me feel. I have never seen it since then, and I'm now 18. I have only told a few people about this, to save myself ridicule. I am hoping that by sharing my experience with you, maybe someone can explain what this is, I believe in the supernatural, in hauntings, ghosts, and all, but I am curious if anyone else besides! ! me has had an experience like mine.I would truly love to know!! Thank you for having this web-site!!
