story I have been reading through these stories and have been fascinated by them. I have been unsure whether to submit my story because it really isn't actually a story about a ghost but more about a feeling. I have never expierened anything like this before and I am still unsure why I did this time. Maybe someone may have some insights for me but this is still hard for me to talk about so bear with me.
I guess I need to give a little background information. I was raised by father and my grandmother. My grandmother was like a mother to me. I went through some rough times as a teenager and she was always there for me. We were very close. Well to the story...
I was pregnant with my third child when this occured. It was the Tuesday after Labor Day weekend. I woke up that morning and I did not feel right. I can say that I was not actually sick I just did not feel right. I had to call of work and the whole day I was very prone to bouts of crying without knowing why I was crying. That night my husband and I went to our weekly Lamaze class despite the fact that I did not feel like going. After the class the Lamaze instructors came over to where my husband and I were. They very concerned. They thought that something may be wrong with me because I looked so pale. They insisted that they take my blood prssure the whole nine yards. Anyway, they could find nothing wrong with me and sent me home with instructions to call my Dr. the next morning. We went home and we went to bed around 10:00. At around 11:00 the phone rang and I answered it. It was my sister. She told me that she had just gotten a call that my grandmother had died! ! in the hospital. I lost it and actually went to my knees. I had not even known that my grandmother was in the hospital or that she was ill. (I lived 300 miles from home) My sister told me that she had not even known that she was in the hospital.
I believe, and please if anyone has a differnt theory let me know, that I knew that mt grandmother was going to pass away on this day. I had never had an expirence like this before this day or since. I do not know what brought this feeling on but I have to say that it is in a way comforting to me to know that I may have been connected to my grandmother on her last day even if it was on a subconscious level.
