First i would like to say, that this story is 100% true to my knowelege, and it just happened 5 days ago. It has to do with my friend Jill. at the time Jill was home alone. here goes-----
It was about 7:00pm, on a monday night. ( the date was mon. October 5, 1998)and Jill was home alone, and really bored. She has a curfew of 7:30pm. (when her parents aren't home)She decides to take a walk to the beach, which is just 20 minutes away from her house, down her street. So she leaves her her house, and doesnt lock the doors, because she sees no need to. she is at the beach until 7:30. Realizing she should be home by then, she tries to run to her house , and arriving there at around 7:50. but something partly strange has happened. Jill sees all the lights in her house on, even the garage lights.(the lights on the outside of her garage.) The thing is, none of the lights were on when she had left the house, becuase it was daylight. So she thinks her dad must be home. She also notices her room light is on. Thinking her dad was in her room, to find her, and confront her about being late. So she went inside. She called out her dad's name, and no one answered. EV! ! ERY light in the house was on. The bathroom light, basement, her room light ,her two hall lights, kitchen, and living room lights all on.
Since no one was there, she calls her dad at work. He says he never left work, and he should be home at about 10:00pm. she calls her Mom and her mom says she never left where she was. (she was at a friends house) Jill gets frightened. Freaked out, she goes outside with the phone.(improtant note * you have to go into the kitchen to get to the back door, and if u want to go to the front door, you must go in the living room.)
She calls me on the phone. She beguins to tell me her story. The reason i belived it , is because me and her have been recently playing the ouija board. There are two spirits that "follow" us around, and do stuff to us daily..(another story) Just then she realizes, that her bedroom lights that were on when she first went into the house, are now off. So are the basement lights. Really scared now, she goes across the street to ask a neighbor if anything happened. The neighbor says she never saw anyone over there, to do anything. Jill goes back across the street, with me still on the phone,(cordless phone of coarse) and when she reaches her lawn, she sees that the garage light is off(the switch for that is by the backdoor in the kitchen!) and her front porch lights are now on. Those weren't like that when she left just 5 minutes ago. She hopes someone she knows will come so she can go in the house. I tried to calm her down, but the idea of the spirits from the board kept ! ! comming to mind.(we have known the "spirits" since this past july) She didn't care what it was, she just wanted everything to be ok. She sees a truck come down the road. she happens to know the couple in the truck,(both in their 40's) and they stopped cause Jill seemed like there was something wrong. She explains the story. She asks the guy to come into the back with her to grab her dog's chain. She wanted to have her dog near for now on. She could see from the screen on the front door, that her dog was on the couch in the living room, and was perked up and acting strange. The guy says he would go with her. They go back and get it. She tries to proceed through the back door, but it is locked. That very door has been broken for a week now, and was incapable of being locked. puzzled, she went in the front way to get to the dog. Then she tries to open the back door(dog now on leash) from the inside, while she is in the kitchen. And it opens freely. I encourage her t! ! o run a test, and jam the door closed from the inside, and take 4 seconds to walk around the outside of the house, and try to see if the back door opens from the outside. now its open! She and the couple were screaming, and talking about how it was just fine, and now its open. I tell her(i'm still on the phone) to go see if the front door is still open. so now she goes around to the outside of the house, to the front door, and that is now locked. she tries tp get in the back, and once more its locked. she's locked out of her house, with all the lights on.
Totally freaked, I heard the couple say that they needed to get going, and that everything will be OK. I hear them drive off. We talk on the phone for 10 minutes, in which the phone almost went dead, and She now goes to the neighbors house. When she got there, she put me on hold, to call her mom to tell her to hurry home. she's dialing the number, and sees across the street, that her Mom just pulled in the drive, and Jill goes over there. Her Mom said that Jill was a lyer,and she said-"get in the house!" and the back door OPENS. Jill, thinking there is a murderer in the house, now has to sleep in her room, where her light went on and off. She later examines the basement. She had a ball of yarn attached to a light switch on the ceiling, for when we would be scared of the dark while playing the board, and the ball was completely unraveled all around the basement.
some "coincidences" we have incountered.
#1--just 4 days before this, Jill had me on the phone while she was home alone, and kept telling me that this one light in her living room, that they never use, was on when she woke up and came down stairs. thinking nothing of it she gets cereal. coming back, she finds that the lamp is off,. whenever shes not looking, it turns on and off.-then 4 days later, ALL THE LIGHTS DO THE SAME.
#2--when i first met Jill last July, the very first day i knew her, we both said our favorite song at the time was-"when the lights go out" by 5ive, a British group. then this happens.-and all the light went out! coincidence? Spirit I believe. it has done this sort of stuff all the time before. Now it got Jill all alone. I know she is not lying, because her reactions were 100% genuine, and she was crying the whole time. I know how she is, and I believe her.
I have even had a small experience myself. Whenever I used to turn my fan on low, within 10 sec, it would boost up to hi. All by itself. It's brand new equipment, so nothings loose. Recently it has stopped doing that. This past 2 weeks in fact. And then Jill's "haunted".I think it went from me to her!
Then I was walking up my stairs yesturday, and i was singing the song "when the lights go out", and i turned on the hall light, walked up the stairs, and the light went out when I said "when the lighhttss go out". Turnes out it burnt out, but it has to be more of a coinsedence!
