Hi !!
First of all, congratulations on such a wonderful homepage, I am a close fan of the ghost stories since I have had some experiences myself, as the one I am about to tell you.
I must tell you before starting my story, that I can feel some things that maybe-other cant so that is the reason why I have had so much experiences with the dead people.
I am a Mexican girl, and I used to live in the middle of downtown in Mexico City, (downtown is known because of its old buildings) so as you can imagine there are a lot of ghost stories about Mexico City's downtown. Anyway this happened around two years ago, in the house of my best friend, who I will call Susan, (we know each other since we were kids), she used to live a few blocks away from my house and as usual I almost lived in her house.
Susan used to live in an old building maybe built in the early 30 or 40's; the floor was totally made of wood, so you could easily hear when someone was walking around the house. It was also a huge apartment, so as a consequence it was kind of cold.
So that night we were in her bedroom listening to some music, and talking as usual, I was standing near the door of the room actually it was behind me, and Susan was almost at the other side of the room.
Suddenly, I felt as if someone had gone through the door and walked just behind me, you know that feeling like a smooth breeze just when someone walks very near from you - I turned over to find nothing, so I told Susan that I could swear that someone had just entered into the room, I was just finishing talking when the environment got a very strange feeling, and got colder and colder as if we were into a refrigerator, we both got very nervous, I told Susan, that I could feel like if someone were there with us, and she told me she could feel it too.
Susan's cat was strangely standing right outside of the room (she wouldn't come in) just staring at us meowing very hard like if she were trying to warn us about something she could see and we couldn't.
Suddenly the cat runed away to the living room and climbed the coach as if she were chasing something,
We were petrified and terrified!! as you could probably imagine, it was near to midnight we were alone in that house, so Susan decided to light up a wax candle (in Spanish we called "Cirio" and is used to light it up when you need to pray) into her room, incredibly we tried to light it THREE TIMES and when we tried to light the match we felt like a smooth breeze turn it off, we were very scared ¡!!, we finally were able to light the candle and both started praying, finally Susan said to this "thing" that it was not welcome in her house and that it must leave immediately.
So it did !! Making a lot of step noises on its way out around the house, it found the cat in its way out so started to chaise her, the cat started running like crazy !! and suddenly it just found the front door OPENED AND CLOSED IN THE MOST NOISY WAY YOU COULD IMAGINE.!!!.
Everything got back to normal immediately, you could just feel it in the air, however we were scared to death and decide to go to my house and stay there, until Susan's boyfriend arrived to pick her up.
A week later, we were at her place again, everything was normal, when Susan's boyfriend arrived and told us that the next door neighbor (a 24 years boy, that used to be a very close friend of us) just passed away in a car crash, we looked at each other without believing a word. So Susan decided to go and ask this boy's mother, so she did, and we found out that exactly the day he died the whole strange thing happened to us. We fricked out ¡!!.
However we do not understand why he was so upset or what was his purpose by scaring us, but I can tell you, that has been the most terrifying experience of all my life, I swear every word is true.

Bye!
