story Hi. This story is happening right now and we are quite confused by it all!
My sister bought her house 5 years ago. It was a fixer-upper and discustingly dirty. In one of the bedrooms, in the closet, a child had written all over the wall. Some of the words were "hate" and "help". The previous owners had three small girls and we have found out that this bedroom had been a child's room.
Well, the room was painted & turned into a guestroom. All was fine until a year ago. My sister & brother-in-law had a old clock that had never worked. Suddenly, one night at 2 a.m. the clock stared to work & chime! They of course assumed that something odd had occured within the clock & now it was going to work. It did, for one hour. At 3 a.m. it again stopped working. This now happens occasionally and we have joked it off as a "ghost" until now.
Two years ago my sister gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Prior to her birth they decided to use the guestroom as the nursery. My brother-in-law was painting the room sky-blue. He left to go to the garage for supplies. My sister was sleeping in her room. When he came back to the room, a large "M" was painted, twice, in the middle of the wall. He went in to ask my sister why she did this, but she was still asleep. He decided that he must have rolled the roller this way & chose to ignore this.
Now my neice, we call her NayNay, is going to be 2 years old. She is talking quite well for her age.
About three months ago some very interesting things starting happening. When she was put down to bed she would normally lay there & talk for awhile. One night my sister kept hearing her repeat the same phrase over and over. She silently stood outside her door and heard her saying over & over "come her little boy"! My sister was a little alarmed and peeked in the room. There was of course no one else in the room but NayNay was sitting up in her crib & staring directly at the closet!! A few weeks later, NayNay suddenly starting asking my sister where "Marco" went? My sister had no idea where she got this name and asked her who Marco was? She replied, "little boy"!! (At this point we started joking about NayNay's ghost) Not wanting to encourage her, my sister never brought up this little boy unless NayNay does. One evening, my sister was sitting in the nite-lit room rocking Nay to sleep when Nay suddenly sat up, looked past her mom's shoulder and gleefully exclaimed "! ! HI". My sister freaked a little and slowly turned her head but saw nothing. Then one evening after watching a movie we started to discuss the ghost. My sister & her husband laughed it & said it's all just a coincidence. I said, well if it's not, at 2 a.m. (remember the clock, I did) you will her NayNay laughing in her crib. They told me to stop it and go home (it was 1 a.m.). They then went to the basement to play on their new computer. Then, they thought they heard her laughing! They looked at each other & said I had gotten to their imagination's but then heard it again loudly & clearly. They rushed upstairs and as they reached her room it stopped! When they looked in she was sleeping soundly! They looked at the clock--2 a.m!! My sister has since decided that if there is a ghost, it is a friendly one because her baby is happy & their house is otherwise undisturbed. Last week, Nay was playing on the deck by herself with a ball, she appeared to be trying to play cat! ! ch. We were laughing at how cute she was when she suddenly said "catch little boy" "here Marco". Ugh, we freaked!! Then a few days ago my sister got some pictures developed that were taken a month ago. In two of the pictures, Naynay is sitting in her rocker reading a book by herself, encircling the rocker is what appears to be a white smudge! No other pictures in that roll have the smudge, including one with just my sister sitting in the rocker! The latest was two days ago when my sister was telling her friend on the phone about all the "funny" "strange" coindencene's when she boldly told her friend "I don't care if it is a ghost my child is happy & healthy & this is my house"! As soon as she said "This is my house", NayNay's bedroom door slammed shut! No one else was in the house but Nay & my sister, Nay was in the highchair next to my sister, no windows were open & they were both in the dining room at the time! My sister told this to her husband, who immediately ex! ! claimed "We're moving!!!" My sister said "No way, like I said this is my house"! This was of course just two days ago & there have been no new occurances. If you have any type of feedback as to what we should do or not do, please advise!!!!!
