Subject: Oklahoma Ghost Story (True) Pt. 2

My thanks to all of the kind folks that expressed thier interest in my last story and thier desire to hear more.
Story two and three, really just unusual events, are associated with the same house as story one. That is, a small 2 bedroom home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma in the late 1940's.
Story two..............
Not long after the ghost was seen on the street outside thier home my grandmother began experiencing something very odd in her kitchen. Almost every morning she would rise from bed to begin her daily routine of fixing breakfast for my grandfather only to enter the kitchen and discover muddy footprints on her nicely mopped floor. The footprints were clearly made by a man's work boots and so after this had happened more than once she angrily reprimanded my grandfather for his thoughtlessness. Grandfather seemed quite surprised and pleaded his innocence. Grandmother did not believe him however and over the course of several weeks would chastise him each time she found the prints on her floor.
As I said this went on for several weeks. Then one morning grandfather was not feeling very good and decided to stay in bed and sleep. (A truly rare event for my hard working grandfather.) So on this particular morning grandmother rose first. When she entered her kitchen to make breakfast for my mother and aunt she was shocked to see the foot prints on her floor. It was not possible grandfather had made the tracks as my grandmother had been the last to go to bed, as usual, and the first to rise.
Needless to say grandmother was spooked not to mention vexed at having to apologize to grandfather for all the times she had blamed him. .................
Shortly after this they moved to a new home in the country about halfway between Bristow and Kellyville, Oklahoma. This new home was to become very familiar to me as they would live there for most of my younger years and I was to have an experience of my own in thier new home. Actually, in the woods outside it.
Story 3.............
This is not really a story per se. Its an occurance, the last one, that happened in my grandparents home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
It seems that one morning at around 2AM my grandmother awoke to see two angels standing beside her and grandfather's bed. As her eyes began to focus on them they rose straight up through the ceiling. Neither ever spoke or made any indication of trying to communicate. Grandmother felt sure they were angels, they had wings, and she (I believe) felt they were there as some sort of death notification. I am going purely on memory here as grandmother has passed on and I can not ask her, but I believe she told me she felt the angels had made an appearance because her father had just passed away. .................
Hope you enjoy these. I'll try and post more this weekend or early next week. I have a couple of stories to tell via my father's experiences one of which my mother was present for and then a few of my own to tell.
