Hi, my name is John Sajdak and I'm relatively new to this, but boy, do I have a chilling story to tell that definitely convinced me of the "other side." My story is PERSONALLY experienced and involves a ouija board.

Three years ago I was fortunate to stay with someone on foreign exchange. I lived in France for a month. We stayed in Paris for a week, so I could check out the sites, and for the rest of the month we stayed at their summer home in Marsielle, southern France. We stayed in a stone house that was dated 1625. (The year was engraved above the fireplace). It was kind of spooky living there, but nothing out of the ordinary ever happen, at least not until we wanted something to happen.

The last night of my stay, we decided to do something unusual. I suggested playing a ouija, but they were non-believers. I believed it was true, but I was never scared of it. At least at that time. To honor my faith in the ouija, I asked the questions, but didn't have my hands on the plancette. (We used a chess board, a glass, and cut out letters to make the ouija.) I even turned out the light, spun the board around a few times, and sat on the couch and asked the question. I asked the ouija what I called Big Bird when I was a kid.

The glass started to circle in a figure eight rotation, from what they told me later, and when it stopped at the first letter, they told me to turn on the light. The letter it was on was "B". I spun the chess board around again, turned off the light, and sat back down on the couch. The board again moved in a figure eight pattern, and stopped. They told me to turn the light on, and I saw the glass sat on top of the letter "O." The procedure went the same, and the next two letters it landed at were "A" and "T". That's right, I called Big Bird "Boat." In fact, I called everything "boat" at the time. The individuals with their hands on the glass was Franck and his sister from France, and a friend from England. There was no way they would have known that.

That didn't really freak me out at the time, but what was about to happen did. I looked on the wall, and there was a black scorpion!!! We smashed that thing at least 10 times, and I could swear it was dead. None of us were willing to pick it up, though, not even with gloves. Afterall, it is a scorpion. So we left it there.

About half an hour went by, and we returned to where the scorpion laid. IT WAS GONE!!!!!! We asked his parents if they had thrown it out, but they denied. We searched that house completely, and do you know where it ended up......... Upstairs, alive, in my room, and under my covers. The next time, we made sure it was dead.

I have never touched a ouija board since.

John.
