I have always been fascinated by the paranormal, living in a supposed haunted house and all.

This experience has only happened one night, and will hopefully remain that way. I love ghost stories, but i hate waking up in the middle of the night and hearing some sort of noise that can't be explained.

I am the baby of the family, but i usually have to give up things for my other siblings. One of these things is my bedroom. My older sister had finally moved out, and came back because she couldn't stand living with her friends anymore. I had just recently bought a game for my computer called '200 Great Games for Windows', and one of the games was called 'Ouija Board.' I had heard of all the tales attatched to the Ouija board (i.e., Being possed by the devil, having your house posessed by the devil, having things smash, ect), but being as curious was (and never being able to try it out in real life), I tried it out. It seemed silly because it was on the computer and didn't seem that it would do anything. Being raised Catholic, I had a firm belief in spirits, God, Jesus, and the *ahem*. I called out a couple of questions like, "Is anyone here?" or "Hello?" After a couple of minutes, I got really freaked for some reason and turned off the computer. I put the whole incident in the back of my mind. After all, nothing happened. I was convinced that it was relatively safe because i had seen my cousins and sisters and brother doing it one night when I was very little, but as I grew older, I had been warned about the dangers of that. But hey, who cares, right?

I am a very fitful, but heavy, sleeper. I usually kick off the covers in the middle of the night and not realize it until 3:00 in the morning when i wake up to find myself shivering. This night was odd. I woke up, thinking that i might have kicked off my covers again, but instead woke up to the sound of typing. I take a habit from all of my siblings of sleeping underneath the covers. It blocks the light and also makes it easier to keep warm. I am very familiar to the sound of typing because back then, my mom would usually stay up late at night, up till around 1:00-1:30, and type.

I looked over at my alarm clock to check what time it was when I saw that it was around 3:00 in the morning. So, i got up and was about to say, "Mom, what are you doing up? And can you type later cause i can't sleep."

when I saw that the computer was off. It was just turned off, not even a light was there. I knew that my mother wasn't in the room because she would be snoring right now, and also because her lamp, which she leaves on every night, wasn't on. And, if you're wondering, my mom sleeps in the Den because she can't stand the sound of my dad's snoring, so he sleeps in his own room. I was just sleeping there because my sister had kicked me out.

Undaunted, i determined that it was coming from my bedroom, and that my other sister was stupid enough not to be home at this hour.

The computer that was in my bedroom had a very noisy keyboard. Since the den and my bedroom are only a couple of steps away, so you could hear all the sounds in there if the door wasn't closed (my mom doesn't close the door when she's in my room or else i would call it snooping around my private things) I got up from my bed and headed towards my bedroom to tell my mom to stop working and go to bed. But when i reached there, i didn't see anything. There are only two computers in our house, so I got pretty freaked. I ran all the way back to the den and turned on the lights and television set. I fell asleep, but the morning after, as i was rationalizing things out, i suddenly remembered that i had been previously tinkering with the Ouija board on the computer.

Can anyone shed a light on this?

note: and yes, i am 100 % positive of what i heard. I'm not one to speculate things in a dream, because i know when I dream. How? I just know.

Thanks for taking time to listen to my story!
