Before I tell you this story, might as well tell you a little about me. I have lived in the same house for 15 years (actually, I could have said all my life but... Well, It makes me sound very old) and nothing really strange ever happened until now.

In August (1996) my dad, sister, and I went to my grandma's house. Because I had just gotten my permit some time before, I wanted to learn how to drive, and my dad took me on some back roads so there wouldn't be as much traffic to deal with. After a little while the car started to overheat so we pulled off to the side of the road to wait. Well, It just so happens that we were only about a quarter mile from the little old cemetery that my dad's grandma is buried at. I love to go into cemeteries and see what the oldest gravestone is, so I convinced my dad to let us go. Well, it was getting late and the car was probably at it's normal temperature again, so we made the short little walk back to the car. Nothing happened that time, and we decided to go again later, this time taking a tape recorder (we've known people who have picked up some "ghosts" with a tape recorder) and a camera to try to capture some "ghosts". Now, my dad is really into treasure hunting, and he especially likes finding old bottles (you know, the ones with blue glass) and there were tons of them there (that is mainly why we went back). My sister and I REALLY, REALLY wanted to see a ghost, and we were walking around thinking "We're going to see a ghost! We're going to see a ghost!" Unfortunately, we didn't see anything, nor did we record a ghost or take a picture of one. I totally forgot that until a week ago.

Last week, I happened to be loaded down with homework and sat down to do it. After a while I found myself staring off at the wall. Then, all of a sudden, something that looked like a drop of water materialized right in front of me and dropped on my leg. I looked at my leg and there wasn't any water, just a bunch of scratches that weren't there a minute before. It even felt as if water was still dripping on my leg. Later, I was making mashed potatoes for dinner and I turned around to do something with the microwave and a big glob of potatoes flew at me and landed on the microwave door! Every one else was asleep, so no one was anywhere around the kitchen I and I was scared to death! Those aren't the only things that have been happening. Locked doors have been flying open and footsteps have been heard in the attic, just to name a few. If you can help me or have had experiences like mine please e-mail me at beck2@juno.com
