***The following story I am about to tell you, did not happen to me, but to a goo friend of mine.......
My friend Lisa, her husband, and 4 children, bought a home and moved in 1995.(Lisa does believe in spirits, ghosts, ect>)Their youngest child was about 6 months old. When she would put the baby down for his nap (this was also their 4 yr olds room) , she would close the bedroom door. Everytime she would go to the door to get the baby, it would be locked ....from the inside. Lisa and her husband dismissed this at first thinking maybe she accidentally hit the lock before leaving the room. But this continued to happen. Over, and Over again...or there were times the closet door would not open. You could pull on it and she says it felt like someone was on the other side holding it shut; she would go do other things for awhile, and come back to the closet, and she could open the door right up.....Then one day her 4 year old told her she would not sleep in her room without her brother, because; There is a old man that comes in her room at night. "What does he do?" Lisa asked..."He jus! ! t stands there and smokes a cigar." Her oldest son said he threw an UNOPENED can of Mountain Dew on the basement chair and ran upstairs to grab something, when he came back downstairs, the can was sitting upright...and OPENED! So Lisa tried to find out who lived in this house before them. But the people they purchased the house from would never return her calls, or letters. Anyway, she bought a ouija board. Her oldest son, and his friends were downstairs, trying to contact whom ever was responsible for these occurances. They asked what this perosns name was, the board spelled, Tom. They asked Tom if he once lived in this house, the pointer went to Yes. They think that maybe Tom loved the house so much he wanted to make sure that the new owners were going to take care of it with the love he did. And they do. "TOM" has not done anything but mischievious(sp?)things. They even talk to Tom when something comes up missing, or won't open. Then when they ask him where something is, ! ! it turns up shortly after asking....
There is 1 more story, but I will tell it later...
Does anyone know how to find out who lived in that house before them? Apparently, someone was renting it from the previous owners. So the "owners" didn't live in the house. If anyone has any info on how to find this out, you may e-mail me tabithad89@yahoo.com. Thank You!
