I was 14 and my Grandmother had had Alzheimas since I was very small, eventually we had to put her in a nursing home. The last one she lived in was in 1997. The road leading up to hospital is quite notorious and the tale is very popular around the South Wales area. I have always been a Ghost fan, but actually seeing a ghost is different frm watching a movie with a ghost in it. It was December 14th, a Sunday exactly one week after my 14th birthday. Me, my mother, my aunt, my two cousins and my sister had just been to see my Grandma. I hate the road anyway. Its pitch black, huge trees on both sides leading into a mountain forest and the road is bendy. A few months before my mum said to me, "I saw a Ghost on this road" I laughed being the sceptic that I am. So there were were driving happily and my mum said, "What if we see that ghost" we all laughed and as we came around the bend he was there! An old man in a long coat, flat cap and his head down. Despite this he had big black eyes. What struck m most was that he had no feet, but his legs were moving! It was clearly a ghost because of the colour and obvious apparition. We all sceamed hysterically. In shock my mum slowed down the car and we went past him in slow motion. Later when we looked back he was gone. I have recently learnt his name was Hosea Pope and he was a supposed to be a policeman ascorting a convict and the convict killed him. But strangely he doesn't look like a policeman, more like a frightened old man
